EC-OG Awarded ISO 45001:2018 Certification
Aberdeen based subsea technology innovator EC-OG has been awarded the latest ISO 45001 certification for occupational health and safety, underlining the company’s commitment to achieving the highest possible QHSE standards.
Integration of the ISO 45001 standard to EC-OG’s quality management system began in December 2018 and after a successful audit by the British Assessment Bureau, the new certification sits alongside the company’s existing ISO 9001:2015 and 14001:2015 certification.
Jackie Carnie, QHSE Lead said: “EC-OG believe a safe and healthy workplace is vital for employees to achieve their full potential whilst delivering quality products and services.
EC-OG is committed to achieving high standard of health, safety and environmental practices, and we constantly review our policies and practices.”
The statement was backed up by Managing Director Richard Knox: “as we move towards increasing our subsea energy storage system manufacturing capabilities, we need to ensure safety is paramount and adhering to the latest industry standards will help us achieve that goal.
It demonstrates the commitment of our team and we are constantly striving to improve our processes and maintain the high standards that we’ve set ourselves.”
